
Machine Information Policy
This Machine Information Policy applies to all products manufactured or supplied by EUROFRIGO (each, a “Product”, collectively, the “Products”).
Separate or additional terms may apply to a specific Product or where a customer has entered into a separate agreement with EUROFRIGO, including but not limited to subscription agreements for telematics services or end-user license agreements for software or mobile applications.
1. Definitions
For the purposes of this Policy:
“EUROFRIGO” means EF-TERMOTIVE SLU, its parent companies, affiliated companies, and any subsidiaries of such parent companies.
“Collection Equipment” means any device, hardware, software, application, diagnostic tool, service, interface, or connection that interacts with, connects to, or communicates with one or more Products.
“Machine Information” means technical, operational, or performance-related information about a Product that is generated by, collected through, or stored by Collection Equipment and shared with EUROFRIGO.
Machine Information may include, without limitation:

Model and serial numbers

Usage, performance, and operational data

Location data related to the Product

Diagnostic data, alarms, and fault codes

Software and hardware versions

Configuration settings, operating modes, and sensor data
Machine Information does not include Personal Information, where “Personal Information” means any information that identifies, or could reasonably be used to identify, a natural person.
2. Collection of Machine Information
A Product may include Collection Equipment (such as telematics hardware) as a standard feature. Machine Information may be collected in accordance with this Policy even if a telematics service has not been activated or no subscription agreement is in place.
Machine Information may be collected by EUROFRIGO:

Automatically or manually

In real-time or in logged/offline modes

Through direct connections or via authorized third-party telematics service providers
Machine Information may also be collected, processed, or transmitted on EUROFRIGO’s behalf by trusted business partners or third parties that provide systems or services interacting with the Products.
3. Personal Information
Where a customer enters into a subscription agreement or uses a service that involves the processing of Personal Information, such processing shall be governed by the applicable agreement and by EUROFRIGO’s Data Protection and Privacy Policy, available at:

4. Use of Machine Information
EUROFRIGO collects and uses Machine Information for legitimate business purposes, including but not limited to:

Customer support and technical assistance

Warranty, claims, and service administration

Product development, testing, improvement, and optimization

Monitoring product performance, efficiency, and reliability

Maintenance planning and safety management

Statistical analysis, analytics, and internal research

Compliance with legal, regulatory, and governmental reporting requirements

Financial, sales, and operational management
Based on Machine Information, EUROFRIGO may also provide service notifications, maintenance alerts, product updates, or commercial offers related to the Products.
5. Disclosure and Transfer
Machine Information may be transferred in connection with the sale, merger, or transfer of a business or assets involving EUROFRIGO.
Machine Information may be aggregated and anonymized. Such aggregated data may be shared with third parties or published in reports, provided it does not identify individual customers or Products.
EUROFRIGO may disclose Machine Information where required by law or where necessary to protect and defend the rights, property, or safety of EUROFRIGO.
6. Data Security
EUROFRIGO implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect Machine Information against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
7. Additional Product-Specific Terms
Additional terms or information relating to Machine Information may be provided with specific Products and shall supplement this Policy.
8. Acceptance and Opt-Out
Use of a Product constitutes acceptance of this Machine Information Policy.

EUROFRIGO will use reasonable efforts to respond to and honor such requests as promptly as possible, subject to technical and legal limitations.
9. Amendments
EUROFRIGO reserves the right to modify or amend this Machine Information Policy at any time. Any updated version will apply from the date of publication.
